"Upon evolution the stored up energy built up in its back has erupted, resulting in the formation of huge jagged spikes. Under very specific conditions, different typed Stalagpine can be evolved."
The name is a combination of STALAGmite and porcuPINE. I'm not 100% on the name, if you have something better I'm open to suggestions. This guy has also got some stegosaurus influence, so yo can work that into the name if you like, something like Stelegpine or whatever.
